Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data NextWebHub collects, what it does not, and what choices you have. It is written to be read rather than to be technically survivable.

The short version

Files and text you process with our tools are never uploaded to us. All processing happens inside your own browser, on your own device. We have no copy of your documents, images, or text, and no ability to obtain one.

We do collect anonymous usage analytics about page visits, and we serve third-party advertising which uses cookies. Both are described in full below.

Files and content you process

Every tool on NextWebHub runs client-side. When you select a file, that file is read into your browser's memory using standard browser APIs and processed there. It is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party. When you close or refresh the page, it is gone from memory.

This is verifiable rather than a promise you have to take on trust. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on this site. You will see no request carrying your file contents.

We do not store, log, cache, inspect, or train anything on the content you process. There is no retention period because there is no collection.

Information we do collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit and how they arrive. This tells us which tools are worth building next. The data collected is aggregate and includes approximate geographic region (country or city level, derived from IP address and not stored by us), device and browser type, pages visited, referring site, and time on page.

We have IP anonymisation enabled. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we do not combine analytics data with any other source. You can opt out entirely using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using any browser privacy setting or extension that blocks analytics scripts. The tools on this site work identically either way.

Advertising

NextWebHub is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website. For more detail on how Google uses data when you use our site, see Google's privacy and terms page.

Advertising is loaded only after page content, and ad units are never placed adjacent to tool controls. This is partly a policy requirement and partly because we do not want you clicking an ad by accident.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard web server logs — IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent — as a normal part of serving the site and protecting against abuse. These are retained by the provider for a limited period under their own policy and are not used by us for tracking or profiling.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage in three ways:

  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
  • Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics to distinguish repeat visits. Anonymous.
  • Advertising cookies. Set by Google and its advertising partners, as described above.

We do not use cookies for authentication, because there are no accounts, and we do not set any cookie that identifies you personally.

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland

Where required, we present a consent banner before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, using a Google-certified consent management platform. You can accept, reject, or configure your choices, and you can change them at any time from the link in the site footer. Rejecting consent does not restrict any tool on this site.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In practice we hold very little: we have no account records and no copies of your files. If you would like us to act on any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

If you are in California

Under the CCPA you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. The advertising described above may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA's broad definition; you can opt out using the Google Ads Settings link above or the consent controls in our footer.

Children

NextWebHub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will act on it.

Links to other sites

Our pages sometimes link to external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to, and we would encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will change the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
